We just concluded testing on a large layout with many trains running before signing off on this device. We can only generate DCC accessory packets in the range 1 – 2000, however the code will support from 1 – 4000 accessory addresses. We included a DCC monitor screen on the management web page, so just plugging it in a connecting via your network shows activity and that it’s working. Look out for a demonstration video while we await production versions of the PCBs.
Work continues on the RFID system for Pete Watermans Milton Keynes Making Tracks III layout. Were revaluating the RFID tags as some seem to reads faster than others. Also need to figure out how were going to interface the RFID readers with the dynamic baseboard information system from UK Departure Boards (link here).
