All MultiPanel starter kits have been enhanced to include: 24 sets of panel mount buttons, mounting hardware and plug and play cables 24 pairs of GREEN/GREEN LEDs and plug and play cables This makes the version 2 MultiPanel starter kit the most complete ‘all in one box’ solution we offer. The MultiPanel Starter Kit V2 […]
Its been a busy summer for us with multiple devices (Servo Controller 12, Relay Driver, MultiPanel and Feedback Module) receiving software and documentation updates. We’ve also launched a new product – the Automatic Brake Control Generator for DCC systems and there’s progress on the JMRI PC integration. Here’s a summary of the changes over the […]
When wiring up a mimic panel cables sometimes aren’t long enough. We’ve replaced the button long lead cable with button cable extension leads and introduced an LED extension cable making installation in larger panels easier. Links to: Button extension lead, LED extension lead ,Video.
Bi colour LEDs are now available for our plug-n-play MultiPanel processors. These GREEN/RED LEDs will change colour when points change. Available in packs of 12 (24 LEDs per pack) from the web shop here. Video demonstrating their use. Link to shop.
This video shows a test track installation (N gauge) of infra red (optical) feedback detectors. I added white paper strips to the bottom of the wagon and loco to aid detection. Suitable for use on both analogue and digital installations. Video link here
The MiniPanel Processor is a simplified mimic panel controller for up to 12 channels and is available as a bare bones circuit board or starter kit including all LEDs, buttons, plugs and cables. Designed for smaller layouts, the MiniPanel can control servos for points or semaphore use; traditional solenoid points motors, Tortoise type stall motors […]
More on bi coloured LEDs (compound), how to hook them up to a MultiPanel and a demonstration of their use. There’s also an infra red sensor update and progress. Video link here.
This video illustrates the design constraints we are under when creating more compact and higher detailed mimic panels and how we’ve solved this with smaller button footprints. The second half of the video introduces inexpensive infra red detectors suitable for both analogue and digital systems and the changes we’ve made to incorporate them easily into […]
These leads are 50cm in length and have the appropriate plug at each end. See here for more details.
How you can add a route processor to your existing layout without having to redesign your existing mimic panel. This video introduces the external router enclosure. In this example its for our exhibition demonstration line up and makes adding a router a simple option. External router housing
