You may have heard in the news that the global chip shortage is over. It is not.
We continue to struggle sourcing certain components, particularly the highly specialised chips that don’t necessarily make the headlines.
We have sufficient stock to get us through to the autumn; however looking ahead we can only hope that our orders are fulfilled by the manufacturers.
Our cabling manufacturer ran into issues with the extension cables for mimic panel buttons. This was resolved a month ago and we’re expecting a delivery of button extension cables within the month.
Seems we spend more on admin than actual productive work.
